A good four years ago, Ralf Hübner and Thomas Weber had the idea of combining the useful with the charitable and went straight into action. Numerous separate collection containers for returnable bottles were set up in the company and the proceeds were donated to a good cause. Colleagues are enthusiastic and are happy to “donate” their empty returnable bottles. A dedicated colleague exchanges the collected bottles at regular intervals – most recently at Christmas last year. With a great result: after a collection period of around 20 months, an amount of €415 was donated to the WDR2 Christmas campaign.
After the deposit bottles have been exchanged, the collection containers are returned directly to the company and are already being diligently filled again. Many thanks for this great commitment!
